Job Description | 190 day contract - highest tier Teacher Salary - Start date: immediately. The intern will: 1. Assist the Administration Team with running the school according to policies of the Board of Education and under the supervision of the Principal. 2. Experience with creating a positive, safe and orderly learning environment using Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS). 3. Maintain knowledge of District policies, procedures, rules and regulations regarding school programs, and administration, principles of personnel supervision and evaluation, public relations principles and techniques, and budget development and administration. 4. Experience with implementing, supervising and revising instructional programs to ensure student instructional needs are met. 6. Facilitate scheduling of classes and student placements. 7. Experience with leading staff in evaluation and improvement of instructional programs: implementation of CCSS, Curriculum Companion, and Next Generation Assessments. 8. Coordinate the development and implementation of school behavior management/discipline programs. 9. Develop and implement school improvement plans. Experience with developing Professional Learning Communities (PLC's) and effective research-based literacy, writing, and math programs. 10. Interview and hire professional and non-professional staff. 12. Allocate, supervise and evaluate building staff. | |||
Qualifications | Current enrollment in a accredited Master's Degree program in Educational Leadership; minimum of three years successful experience as a teacher; eligible for Wisconsin DPI Principal's License (#51). | |||
